Elsie is a small village located in Clinton County, Michigan, in the United States. In 2020, about 930 people lived there. The village is actually made up of two separate parts within Duplain Township. One of these parts includes the village's Riverside Cemetery.

A Look Back: Elsie's History
Elsie was started in 1857. The village was officially planned out in the same year. Later, in 1885, Elsie became an incorporated village. This means it got its own local government. The village is named after Miss Elsie Tillotson. She was the daughter of one of the very first people to settle in the area.
