The Yellow Peach Moth (also known as the Durian Fruit Borer) is a type of moth. Its scientific name is Conogethes punctiferalis, and it belongs to the Crambidae family of moths.

What Does It Look Like?

The young moths, called larvae (like caterpillars), live hidden inside the plants they eat. They build a silky case around themselves for protection. When fully grown, these larvae are about 20 millimeters (less than an inch) long.

Adult moths are yellow with dark patterns. They have a wingspan of about 14 to 20 millimeters (about half an inch to three-quarters of an inch).
