Dyshawn Dylan Pierre (born November 17, 1993) is a Canadian professional basketball player. He last played for Fenerbahçe, a team in Turkey. Dyshawn is from Whitby, Ontario, Canada. He played college basketball for the Dayton Flyers. Dyshawn is 6 feet 6 inches tall. He plays as a power forward and small forward.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Dyshawn Pierre was born in Whitby, Ontario. When he was in high school, he played for the Anderson Raiders. He helped his team win two championships in a row. These were the OFSAA championships in 2011 and 2012.
College Basketball Career
Dyshawn played college basketball for the Dayton Flyers. In his second year, he averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds per game. He was a 6-foot-6 shooting guard.
In the 2014 NCAA Men's Division 1 tournament, Dyshawn helped the Flyers win big games. He made important free throws in the first game. This helped the Flyers (who were the 11th seed) beat Ohio State University (the 6th seed). He also made key free throws in the next game against the Syracuse Orangemen. This win sent the Flyers to the "sweet sixteen" round. Dayton then beat Stanford. They lost to the Florida Gators in the "elite eight" round. Dyshawn scored 18 points in that game.
Dyshawn Pierre was chosen for the All-Atlantic 10 Conference Second Team. In 2015, as a junior, he played in the "First Four" game of the NCAA Men's Division 1 tournament. He scored nine points in a close comeback win for the Dayton Flyers. This win helped them get into the main 64-team tournament. In the second game, Dyshawn scored 20 points. He led the Flyers to an upset win against the sixth-seeded Providence Friars.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Dyshawn joined the Indiana Pacers for their summer league team.
Playing in Germany (2016–2017)
In August 2016, Dyshawn signed his first professional contract overseas. He joined Basketball Löwen Braunschweig in Germany. In the 2016-17 season, he led the German league in rebounds. He grabbed 7.9 rebounds per game. He also scored 14.9 points per game.
Playing in Italy (2017–2020)
Dyshawn then signed with an Italian team, Dinamo Basket Sassari, for the 2017-18 season. On May 1, 2019, he helped Dinamo Sassari win their first European title. He scored 19 points and had 7 rebounds in the final game of the 2019 FIBA Europe Cup Finals. They beat s.Oliver Würzburg.
Playing in Turkey (2020–2025)
On July 8, 2020, Dyshawn signed with Fenerbahçe Beko. This is a top team in Turkey and plays in the EuroLeague. He averaged 9.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game for them. He signed a new three-year contract with Fenerbahçe on June 14, 2021. On May 30, 2023, he extended his contract until 2026.
On May 25, 2025, Dyshawn helped Fenerbahçe win their second EuroLeague championship. This big win happened in Abu Dhabi. On July 7, 2025, Dyshawn left Fenerbahçe after five seasons. During his time there, he helped the team win six titles in total.
The Basketball Tournament (TBT)
In the summer of 2017, Dyshawn played in The Basketball Tournament (TBT). This tournament is shown on ESPN. He played for a team called the Broad Street Brawlers. He averaged 20.5 points per game in the tournament. He also shot 52 percent from the free-throw line. Dyshawn helped his team reach the second round. They lost to Team Colorado.
Playing for the Canadian National Team
Dyshawn Pierre has also played for Canada's national basketball teams. He played for the Cadet team in 2010 and the Junior team in 2011. He won a bronze medal with teammates like Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett.
