East Brewton is a city in Escambia County, Alabama, United States. It became an official city in October 1918. In 2020, about 2,293 people lived there. The town started near Fort Crawford. This fort helped protect the first settlers in the area.

East Brewton is located in the eastern part of Escambia County. It is right next to the city of Brewton, with Murder Creek separating them.
Two main roads, U.S. Route 29 and Alabama State Route 41, go through the middle of East Brewton. These roads connect East Brewton to other towns. For example, US 29 goes about 44 miles (71 km) northeast to Andalusia. AL 41 goes south about 7 miles (11 km) to the Florida border. From there, you can reach Milton, Florida, which is about 34 miles (55 km) south of East Brewton.
