History of East Greenville
East Greenville has an interesting history, especially with a well-known company.
Knoll Furniture Company
In 1950, a company called Knoll moved its main office to East Greenville. Knoll is famous for making modern furniture. They have worked with many important architects and designers like Mies van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen, and Harry Bertoia. The company's headquarters is still in East Greenville today. In 2011, about 700 people worked at the Knoll factory in the town.
