A Look Back in Time
Just like the main town of Pepperell, East Pepperell gets its name from a famous person. This person was Sir William Pepperrell. He was a soldier from the Massachusetts colony a long time ago.
Sir William Pepperrell was a hero who led a big attack called the Siege of Louisbourg. This happened during a war known as King George's War.

East Pepperell is located in the northern part of Middlesex County. You can find it in the eastern section of the town of Pepperell.
A river called the Nashua River separates East Pepperell from the main village of Pepperell to the west. To the northeast, East Pepperell borders the town of Dunstable. To the south, it borders the town of Groton.
Massachusetts Route 113 is a road that goes right through the village. This road can take you west into Pepperell village. If you go east on Route 113, you can travel about 15 miles to the city of Lowell.
