Greenville, often called Edgemont, is a special kind of community in Westchester County, New York. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that looks like a town but isn't officially run by its own local government. Most people who live here call it Edgemont. This is also the name of its school district.

Edgemont is a diverse area located about 22 miles north of New York City. Many people who live here travel to New York City for work. Others work in nearby cities like White Plains or Yonkers. The main street, Central Park Avenue, has many stores and gas stations.

The Supervisor then appealed this court decision.

The main road that goes north and south through Edgemont is Central Park Avenue. This road is part of New York State Route 100. It connects Edgemont to other towns like Yonkers and White Plains. There are also four main roads that go east and west. One of these, Ardsley Road, can get very busy.

Many people who live in Edgemont take the Metro-North Railroad to New York City. Most use the Hartsdale train station because it has more parking. Some residents can walk or take a bus to the Scarsdale station. There are also local buses that connect Edgemont to other nearby towns and cities.
