Getting Around Edgemont

The main highway near Edgemont is the Sprain Brook Parkway. This parkway forms the western edge of Edgemont. Another nearby road is the Bronx River Parkway, which is on the eastern side.

The main road that goes north and south through Edgemont is Central Park Avenue. This road is part of New York State Route 100. It connects Edgemont to other towns like Yonkers and White Plains. There are also four main roads that go east and west. One of these, Ardsley Road, can get very busy.

Many people who live in Edgemont take the Metro-North Railroad to New York City. Most use the Hartsdale train station because it has more parking. Some residents can walk or take a bus to the Scarsdale station. There are also local buses that connect Edgemont to other nearby towns and cities.
