Early Life and Stunts
Growing Up in Oregon
Ehren McGhehey was born in McMinnville, Oregon. He grew up in a unique place, living above a mortuary. From a young age, he was very active and enjoyed extreme sports.
Skateboarding and Snowboarding
By the time he was 12, Ehren was already a skilled skateboarder. Later, he became a professional snowboarder. During his snowboarding career, he had several serious accidents, breaking his neck, shoulder, and knees. These experiences showed his willingness to take risks, which later became a big part of his career.
Starting His Stunt Career
While working at a skate shop in Portland, Oregon, Ehren started filming his own stunts. These videos eventually led to him joining the Jackass team.
Ehren's Role in Jackass
Appearing in TV and Movies
Ehren McGhehey appeared in all three seasons of the Jackass television series. He also starred in four Jackass films. He is often called "Danger Ehren" because of the risky stunts he performs.
Funny Moments and Challenges
Ehren was often the target of jokes and pranks by the other Jackass cast members. One famous skit was "Terror Taxi" from Jackass Number Two. In this stunt, Ehren dressed up to scare a taxi driver. He later shared in a podcast that some of the jokes, even off-camera, felt like bullying to him.
