Electra Woman and Dyna Girl was a fun live-action TV show from 1976. It was all about science fiction and made for kids! The show was created by Sid and Marty Krofft, who made many other cool kids' shows.

This series had 16 episodes in just one season. It was part of a bigger show called The Krofft Supershow. Later, the 12-minute episodes were put together into eight longer episodes for reruns and home video.

Meet the Heroes: Electra Woman and Dyna Girl

The show followed two amazing female crime-fighters. There was Electra Woman, played by Deidre Hall, and her brave teen sidekick, Dyna Girl, played by Judy Strangis. When they weren't fighting bad guys, they worked as reporters for Newsmaker Magazine. Their real first names were Lori and Judy.

To become heroes, they would change into their super cool spandex suits in a bright flash of light. This was called an "Electra-Change"! Then, they would jump into their special "ElectraCar." They used lots of high-tech gadgets to stop all sorts of supervillains.

Their helpful scientist friend, Frank Heflin (Norman Alden), stayed at their secret "ElectraBase." He used a super smart computer called "CrimeScope." Frank also talked to the heroes using their "ElectraComs" to help them on their missions.
