Element Skateboards is an American company that makes skateboards and skateboarding gear. It was started in 1992 by Johnny Schillereff. Element makes many products for skaters. These include skateboard decks, wheels, and trucks. They also sell grip tape, wax, clothes, and shoes.
In 2014, Element moved its creative office to The Branch in Costa Mesa, California. Later, in 2018, Boardriders, Inc. bought Element. The company now has main offices in Huntington Beach, U.S. and Saint-Jean-de-Luz, France.
In early 2025, the company that ran Element's stores faced financial challenges. This led to the closure of all Element retail stores.
