Elyse Willems (born May 3, 1986) is a Canadian internet personality, comedian, and writer. She is well-known for her work as a cast member and producer at Funhaus. Funhaus is a part of Rooster Teeth Productions. She joined Funhaus in November 2015. Since then, Elyse has appeared in and helped create many shows for Rooster Teeth.
Elyse also wrote her first book, A Night in Halloween House. It became a top-selling Halloween children's book on Amazon in October 2020.

Elyse Willems' Early Life and Career
Elyse Willems was born and grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her family has Polish roots. She studied at the University of Toronto. After graduating, Elyse moved to Los Angeles in January 2012.
She started working at Viacom in August 2012. There, she was a production assistant for GameTrailers. Later, in 2014, she became a segment producer at Defy Media. At Defy Media, she produced, wrote, and hosted a weekly comedy news show. The show was called Mandatory Update. It made fun of the video game industry in a humorous way.
Working at Funhaus and Rooster Teeth
In November 2015, Elyse joined Rooster Teeth as a cast member for Funhaus. At Funhaus, she has helped produce and write many series. Some of these include Arizona Circle and Twits & Crits. She also produces and performs in gaming videos and podcasts.
Elyse has attended several RTX conventions. These are big events for Rooster Teeth fans. At RTX Sydney 2017, she spoke about how frustrating it was when her male co-workers sometimes got credit for her work. She also appeared on the show Always Open, hosted by her friend Barbara Dunkelman.
Viral Moments and Charity Work
In 2017, a short clip from a Funhaus video became very popular online. In the clip, Funhaus members were jokingly making fun of a female character's ponytail. Elyse, who was wearing a ponytail herself, reacted in a funny way in the background. This clip was even shown in one of PewDiePie's videos. It got almost fifteen million views around the world. Elyse later explained that the joke was meant to be funny, and her reaction was planned to be comedic.
In 2020, Elyse created and took part in a Rooster Teeth series called Last Laugh. This show was a social experiment. Twelve contestants spent six hours in one room trying to make each other laugh or smile.
Elyse also streams online with her husband, James. They do this to raise money for different charities. For example, in November 2020, she helped raise money for The Jimmy Fund. This fund supports research at Dana–Farber Cancer Institute.
Writing and Other Projects
Elyse self-published her first novel, A Night in Halloween House, in October 2020. It was available on Amazon as both a paperback book and an e-book. It quickly became the best-selling Halloween children's book. In 2021, she and James were writers for the video game Arcadegeddon by IllFonic.

Elyse is married to James Willems. He is also a performer and a cast member at Funhaus. They live together in Los Angeles, California.
