Eric Shannon Moulds, born on July 17, 1973, is a former American football player. He was a fantastic wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons. Eric played college football at Mississippi State University. The Buffalo Bills picked him 24th overall in the 1996 NFL draft. In 2009, Eric was honored as one of the top three receivers on the Buffalo Bills' 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. People sometimes called him "E-Money" for short!

College Football Career
Eric Moulds was a star player at Mississippi State University. He caught 117 passes for a total of 2,022 yards. This means he averaged about 17.1 yards every time he caught the ball. He is still one of the top players in Mississippi State history for receiving yards and touchdowns.
In 1993, Eric caught 17 passes for 398 yards and scored 4 touchdowns. He was used as a "vertical receiver," meaning he often ran deep routes to catch long passes. The next year, in 1994, he had 39 catches for 845 yards and 7 touchdowns. In 1995, he caught 62 passes for 779 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Eric was also amazing at kickoff returns. In 1994, he led the entire NCAA Division I-A (the top level of college football) with an average of 32.8 yards per return. This means he often gave his team a great starting position on the field!

Professional Football Career
Eric Moulds was picked by the Buffalo Bills as the 24th player overall in the 1996 NFL draft. For his first two seasons, Eric was a backup receiver. He played behind experienced players like Andre Reed and Quinn Early.
Buffalo Bills Highlights
Eric had a huge breakout season in 1998. He set a new team record for the Bills with 1,368 receiving yards. This was the second-highest total in the entire league that year! This record stood for many years until Stefon Diggs broke it in 2020. Eric also holds the Bills' third-highest single-season total with 1,326 yards in 2002. In 1998, his average of 20.4 yards per catch was second-best in the NFL.
For eight seasons (1998–2005), Eric was the main receiver for the Bills. During this time, he made 626 catches for 8,523 yards. This means he averaged about 78 catches and 1,065 yards each season! His total yardage was the 7th most in the NFL during that period.
In 2002, Eric Moulds made history. He became the first player for the Bills to catch 100 passes in a single season! This team record for receptions also stood until Stefon Diggs broke it in 2020 with 127 catches.
In the playoffs, Eric had an amazing game against the Miami Dolphins. He set an NFL playoff record with 240 receiving yards! Even though he had a great game, the Bills lost 24–17.
Eric Moulds became one of the best receivers in football in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He made 764 catches in his career. He was also chosen for the Pro Bowl three times: in 1998, 2000, and 2002.
In 2005, Eric was suspended for one game. This happened after a disagreement with his wide receivers coach on the sideline during a game against Miami.
Later Seasons: Texans and Titans
On April 4, 2006, Eric Moulds was traded to the Houston Texans. The Bills received a draft pick in return, which they used to select future star Kyle Williams. Eric played for the Texans for one season. After that season, the Texans released him.
The Tennessee Titans signed Eric on July 25, 2007. At the start of the season, he earned a starting position with the team. Eric played in all 16 games in 2007. He had 32 catches for 342 yards, which was the second-most among wide receivers on his team. After the 2007 season, the Titans released Eric.
