Eric Luther Paschall (born November 4, 1996) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for Pistoia Basket 2000 in Italy. Eric played college basketball for the Fordham Rams and the Villanova Wildcats. He was picked by the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA draft. In 2020, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Eric Paschall was born in Sleepy Hollow, New York. His parents are Juan Eric Paschall and Cecelia Brooks-Paschall. He has three sisters: Ellen, Eudora, and Tia. When he was young, people called him "Stepzz." This was because of his amazing "stepback" move in basketball.
Eric played in a special basketball league called AAU. There, he became friends with Donovan Mitchell, who also became an NBA player later. Eric went to Dobbs Ferry High School. In his second year, he scored about 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds per game. As a junior, he was named the best player in his state for his age group. He led his team to the Section 1 finals. Later, Eric moved to St. Thomas More School. He helped his new team reach the championship game.
College Basketball Journey
Eric Paschall started his college basketball career at Fordham University. In his very first game, he scored 31 points and got ten rebounds. This set a new school record for a freshman's first game! He was named "Rookie of the Week" twice. Even though he missed some games due to a leg injury, he was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year.
After his first year, Eric decided to transfer to Villanova University. He had to sit out one season, which is called "redshirting." During that year, the Villanova team won the national championship.
As a sophomore at Villanova, Eric played well. He scored a season-high 19 points in a win against Creighton. He also had 17 points in a big win over St. John's.

In his junior year, Eric helped Villanova win the NCAA Championship! He scored 14 points in a key game against West Virginia. In another important game, he had 12 points and 14 rebounds against Texas Tech. His best game in the tournament was in the Final Four. He scored 24 points to help his team beat Kansas.
In his senior year, Eric continued to be a strong player. He was named to the First-Team All-Big East.
Professional Basketball Career
Golden State Warriors (2019–2021)
On June 20, 2019, Eric Paschall was chosen by the Golden State Warriors in the NBA draft. He was the 41st player picked overall. He made his NBA debut on October 24, 2019. He scored 14 points in that game. On his birthday, November 4, he had an amazing game. He scored a career-high 34 points and grabbed 13 rebounds! In September 2020, Eric was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. This means he was one of the best new players in the league.
Utah Jazz (2021–2022)
On August 7, 2021, Eric was traded to the Utah Jazz. He played for them during the 2021-2022 season.
Other Teams (2022–Present)
After playing for the Jazz, Eric signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves in July 2022, but he was later waived. In March 2023, he joined Leones de Ponce in Puerto Rico. He played there for a short time.
As of August 2, 2024, Eric Paschall signed with Pistoia Basket 2000 in Italy. He continues his professional basketball career there.
