Eric Stanley (born April 19, 1991) is an American hedge fund manager, violinist, and entrepreneur. He is known for his amazing violin performances, which he shares on his YouTube channel. Eric also helps manage money for others using smart computer programs. He founded Stay Inspired, a media company, and co-founded Stay Inspired Capital, a special investment fund.

In April 2015, Eric Stanley played the theme song on his violin for the TV show ESPN First Take. This was his first time performing on national television.

Eric Stanley's Early Life

Eric Stanley was born in Chesapeake, Virginia. He grew up in a family of musicians. His older brother, Marcus, plays the piano, and his older sister, Anhayla, is a singer.

Eric started playing the violin when he was 12 years old. His teachers encouraged him to learn. When he went to high school, Eric joined the Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Music and Online Fame

In 2009, when Eric was 18, he started sharing videos of himself playing the violin online. He posted them on websites like YouTube and WorldStarHipHop. Eric loves to mix violin playing with different styles of music, like hip hop, pop, and classical.

One of his first popular videos was a violin version of "Say Ahh" by Trey Songz. He also covered songs like "Love the Way You Lie" and "Airplanes." In 2011, Eric released a music collection called The Eric Stanley Project. He became very popular online, which is called a "viral sensation." That same year, he even opened a show for the rapper B.o.B. Eric also performed for former President Bill Clinton in Florida in 2011. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014.

Eric Stanley cares a lot about helping young people. He has visited more than 200 schools across the United States. His goal is to inspire students to follow their dreams.

In April 2017, Eric worked with Newark Public Schools. He helped raise over $2,400 to buy 20 violins for students there.

On July 20, 2017, Eric joined Usher's New Look for a special event in Atlanta. This group helps young leaders. Eric was part of the "Disruptive Innovation Summit" at SunTrust Park. The singer Usher started this group to bring together creative young people.
