Erica Luttrell is a talented Canadian actress. She is known for her work in television shows, movies, and video games. She has lent her voice to many popular animated characters.
About Erica Luttrell
Erica Luttrell was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her mother is from Tanzania, and her father is American. She is the youngest of four sisters. Because of her family background, Erica can speak some French and Swahili. In August 2019, Erica Luttrell married her partner, Jessica Mallers. Her older sister, Rachel Luttrell, is also an actress. Rachel is well-known for playing Teyla Emmagan in the science fiction series Stargate Atlantis.
Erica's Acting Journey
Erica Luttrell started acting very young, at just two years old. She appeared in commercials for products like Pampers. When she was nine, she got her first big role on a TV show. This show was called Shining Time Station.
Erica is widely recognized for her role as Kara Cupper on Shining Time Station. She also became famous as the voice of Keesha Franklin on The Magic School Bus. In 1997, she played Emelie Robeson in The New Ghostwriter Mysteries.
After working on these and other TV series, Erica moved to Los Angeles, California. She continued her career in voice acting. In 2004, she voiced Candy in the Disney Channel animated series Dave the Barbarian.
Erica has voiced many characters in popular animated shows and video games. She is the voice of Sapphire in the Cartoon Network series Steven Universe. She also voiced Glori in Mighty Magiswords. In video games, she voiced Emily Kaldwin in Dishonored 2 (2016). She was also the voice of Cheetah in the fighting game Injustice 2 (2017). Gamers might also know her as the voice of Bangalore in Apex Legends.
More recently, Erica has continued to voice characters in many exciting projects. She voiced Mercy Graves in the animated films The Death of Superman (2018) and Reign of the Supermen (2019). She also voiced Sapphire in Steven Universe: The Movie (2019) and Steven Universe Future (2019–2020). In 2020, she voiced Elise in Adventure Time: Distant Lands. She was also the voice of Zo in the video game Horizon Forbidden West (2022). Her voice work includes Agent Two in Helluva Boss (2021, 2024–present) and Esther in Castlevania: Nocturne (2023–present). She also voiced characters like Asha in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (2024–present).
Erica Luttrell has also appeared in live-action TV shows. She was in the CBS sci-fi drama Salvation from 2017 to 2018. She also had roles in Arrow (2016) and Westworld (2018).
