Eunice Castro is famous for her work in both Uruguay and Argentina. She started her journey in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Early Life and Modeling

Eunice studied ballet at the National School of Dance in Uruguay. She began her career as a high-fashion model. She appeared on the covers of major magazines like Gente and Sábado Show. She also modeled for big brands such as Pepsi.

Later, the Elite agency in Madrid hired her. This led her to walk the runway in Paris, a dream for many models.

Television Work

In 2002, Eunice became a co-host for the TV show "Journal magazine Tveo" on Channel 5 in Uruguay. From 2005 to 2008, she hosted the show "Wide Awake" on Channel 12 in Montevideo.

Dancing and Acting

Eunice took part in "Dancing for a Dream Argentina 2008". She reached 7th place, becoming the Uruguayan contestant who went the furthest in that competition. She also participated in "El Musical de tus Sueños" in Argentina.

She co-hosted two Uruguayan TV programs with Maxi De la Cruz. These were "The casting of the TV" in 2009 and "Minute to Win It" in 2010, both on Channel 12. In 2011, Eunice presented the summer season of "Minuto para Ganar" on Channel 12. This show was an international format adapted for Uruguay and other Latin American countries.

Since 2011, Eunice has been part of the musical theater play "Shangay". She stars in this dramatic comedy alongside other actors. In 2012, she made a special appearance in the popular Argentine soap opera "Dulce Amor" on Telefé.

Recent Projects

From the summer of 2012, Eunice Castro became one of three hosts for a magazine show called "Verano Perfecto" on Channel 12. This show aired in the evenings. On December 28, 2012, Eunice started hosting a radio talk show called "Qué pasa Verano???" with Diego Fonsalia.

In January 2013, Eunice Castro was featured in a music video. She played the love interest in Jorge Echagüe's song "Seguiré".

Personal Life

Eunice Castro has Spanish roots. She is a big fan of the football team, Peñarol. She has an older brother named Eduardo and an older sister named Yanice, who is also a model. Her mother, Glasy Casaravilla, was a midwife. Her father, Eduardo Castro, was a chemist's assistant.

Eunice Castro was married to businessman Jorge Rama from 2000 to 2005. Jorge Rama was also the ex-husband of Susana Giménez.

Eunice Castro currently lives in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, which is also her birthplace.
