History of Falcon
Falcon is home to an important building called the Falcon Tabernacle. This special building was recognized for its history in 1983. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places. This means it is a place that is important to the history of the country.

Falcon is found in the northeastern part of Cumberland County. A small piece of the town also reaches into Sampson County. The town sits on the west side of the South River. This river flows into the Black River, which is part of the larger Cape Fear River system.

North Carolina Highway 82 goes right through the middle of Falcon. This highway helps people get around. If you drive northwest for about 1.5 miles (2.4 km), you will reach Interstate 95. The city of Fayetteville is about 18 miles (29 km) southwest of Falcon. Fayetteville is the main city for Cumberland County.
