Farzad Hatami is an Iranian professional footballer. He was born on January 3, 1986. He plays as a striker, which means he is usually focused on scoring goals. Farzad has played for many different football clubs in his career. These include famous Iranian teams like Esteghlal and Persepolis. He currently plays for Paykan in the Persian Gulf Pro League.
Farzad Hatami's Club Journey
Farzad Hatami started his football career in Iran. He played for Fajr Sepasi and Rah Ahan. In 2008, he moved to Azerbaijan. There, he played for Qäbälä and scored 8 goals in 22 games.
After his time in Azerbaijan, Farzad returned to Iran. He joined Sepahan in 2009. He also played on loan for Saba. Later, he joined Tractor and scored many goals.
Farzad then played for two of Iran's biggest clubs. He joined Esteghlal in 2012. After that, he moved to Persepolis in 2013. He continued to play for various teams. These included Foolad, Mes Kerman, and Malavan.
He returned to Tractor for a second time. He played there from 2016 to 2018. In August 2018, he joined Oxin Alborz. In January 2019, he signed with Pars Jonoubi. He has also played for Naft Masjed Soleyman, Baadraan, Paykan, and Saipa.
Playing for His Country
Farzad Hatami also played for the Iranian national football team. He made his first appearance on June 18, 2013. This was in a game against Korea Republic. Iran won that game and qualified for the 2014 World Cup.
