Ferwerderadiel () was a municipality in the northern Netherlands. It was located in the province of Friesland. The official name of the municipality was in the West Frisian language. Its Dutch name was Ferwerderadeel (pronounced [fɛrˈʋɛrdəraːˌdeːl]).

In 2019, Ferwerderadiel joined with two other municipalities. These were Dongeradeel and Kollumerland en Nieuwkruisland. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality called Noardeast-Fryslân.

  • Saint Frederick of Hallum (around 1113 – 1175) was a Premonstratensian priest. He was known for his religious work.
  • Barthold Douma van Burmania (1695 in Hallum – 1766) was a Dutch statesman. He also served as an ambassador.
