Foster Reservoir is a large lake in Oregon, United States. It was created by building Foster Dam on the South Santiam River. This reservoir is about 5.6 kilometers (3.5 miles) long. When it's full, it covers an area of about 494 hectares (1,220 acres). People use it for fun activities in summer. In winter and spring, it helps control floods.

Fun Activities at Foster Reservoir
Foster Reservoir is a great place for outdoor fun. Many parks around the lake offer different activities.
Lewis Creek Park is on the north side of the reservoir. It has a special swimming area that is roped off for safety. You can also have picnics, use barbecues, and walk on paved trails. It's easy to get to the lake for fishing from the shore or to moor your boat.
