Franklin's Story
Franklin was started a long time ago, in the 1870s. It was named after a very famous American, Benjamin Franklin.
A former governor of Nebraska, Ashton Shallenberger, passed away in Franklin. This happened on February 22, 1938, while he was giving a speech.
