Fred Robbins is a former American football player. He was born on March 25, 1977. Fred played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL).
He played college football for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The Minnesota Vikings chose him in the second round of the 2000 NFL draft. Fred Robbins also played for the New York Giants and the St. Louis Rams.

Early Life and High School Football
Fred Robbins grew up in Pensacola, Florida. He went to J. M. Tate High School. There, he was a talented athlete in both football and baseball.
In high school football, Fred played for three years. In his final year, he was chosen as an All-City player. He was also named an All-Northwest Florida selection.
College Football Career
Fred Robbins played college football at Wake Forest University. He was a starting defensive tackle for three years. During his college career, he made 15 sacks. He also had 44 tackles that stopped players behind the line of scrimmage.
In his senior year, he was named Second-team All-ACC. He helped his team's defense get much better in 1999. They went from being 9th to 2nd best in the ACC.
