Freya Allan (born on September 6, 2001) is an actress from England. She is most famous for playing Princess Cirilla of Cintra in the Netflix show The Witcher. For this role, she was nominated for two Saturn Awards. She also appeared in the 2021 movie Gunpowder Milkshake as a young character named Sam. You might also know her as Mae in the 2024 film Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

Early Life and School
Freya Allan was born in Oxford, England, on September 6, 2001. She went to Headington School in Oxford. Before becoming widely known, Freya acted in a few short films. These included Bluebird and The Christmas Tree, which were made by the National Film and Television School. She also played a character named Linda in another short film called Captain Fierce.
Acting Career Highlights
Freya Allan started her acting career with a small part in a 2019 BBC show called The War of the Worlds. In the same year, she was featured on the cover of Schön! magazine. This was part of their celebration for being around for 10 years.
Starring in The Witcher
Since 2019, Freya has played Ciri in the popular Netflix series The Witcher. In this fantasy show, she acts alongside Henry Cavill and Anya Chalotra. The series is based on a book series by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski.
Freya was first chosen for a small part in the first episode. However, the creators soon realized she would be perfect for the main role of Ciri. To film the first season, Freya lived in Budapest, Hungary, for eight months.
The second season of The Witcher was filmed in London in early 2020 and came out on Netflix in 2021. For her work in The Witcher, Freya was nominated for a Saturn Award in 2021. In season two, her character Ciri trains to become a fighter with Henry Cavill's character, Geralt of Rivia.
