Gabrielle Brooks (born January 28, 1990) is a talented English actress. She's known for her amazing performances, especially in musicals. She even received a nomination for a special award called the Laurence Olivier Award for her role in Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical. Gabrielle started acting when she was very young, at just seven years old, in a musical by the famous Andrew Lloyd Webber called Whistle Down the Wind. Besides acting, she is also a creative director for the Mawa Theatre Company and produces an interview series called BlackStage UK.

Gabrielle Brooks was born and grew up in London, England. Her family background is half Jamaican and half Guyanese. She has two sisters. Before going to university, she studied at Sir George Monoux College in Walthamstow. Later, she trained to be an actress at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where she earned her degree in 2011.
Gabrielle first became interested in acting when her parents signed her up for an after-school acting club. This led to her very first acting job at the age of seven. She got a role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Whistle Down the Wind, which was performed at the Aldwych Theatre in London.
