Garland, sometimes called Garland City, is a small town in Miller County, Arkansas, United States. It is part of the larger Texarkana, Texas - Texarkana, Arkansas area. In 2020, about 195 people lived there. This was a decrease from 242 people in 2010.

Where is Garland, Arkansas?
Garland is in the eastern part of Miller County. It sits right on the west bank of the Red River. You can find it about 22 miles (35 km) east of Texarkana. It is also about 31 miles (50 km) west of Magnolia.
The town covers a total area of about 0.9 square miles (2.3 square kilometers). All of this area is land.

The town also has a small airstrip. It is on the south side of Garland. This airstrip is mostly used by planes called "crop dusters." These planes help farmers by spraying crops.
Schools in Garland
Public schools in Garland are part of the Lafayette County School District. Over the years, school districts in the area have combined. For example, the Garland Arkansas School District joined with the Lewisville School District in 1990. Later, in 2003, the Lewisville district combined with the Stamps School District. This created the Lafayette County School District we know today.

One well-known person born in Garland is Kenny Guinn. He later became the Governor of Nevada.
