Garners Beach is a small coastal area in Queensland, Australia. It's part of the Cassowary Coast Region. In 2021, only 31 people lived there. It's a quiet spot, known for its beautiful beaches.

Where is Garners Beach?
Garners Beach is right next to the Coral Sea. The sea forms its eastern border and part of its northern border. This means you'll find lovely beaches and ocean views all around.
Beaches to Explore
Garners Beach has two main beaches:
- Garners Beach (17°48′37″S 146°05′56″E / 17.8104°S 146.0989°E) is the main beach.
- Brookes Beach (17°49′18″S 146°06′12″E / 17.8217°S 146.1032°E) is further south. It even stretches into a nearby area called Bingil Bay.
A Look Back in Time
Garners Beach got its name from an early settler, Edward Garner. He moved there in 1890. Mr. Garner started growing bananas. Later, he opened a small shop for visitors.
In 1928, people already knew Garners Beach as a great place. They came to fish and see the amazing coral.
By 1937, a road was built to the beach. This made it easier for cars to visit. It also helped with deliveries. Boats would bring goods to Garners Beach. Then, trucks would take them to El Arish.
During World War II, the military used the area. They practiced shooting there. This was to prepare soldiers for battle.
Who Lives Here?
Garners Beach is a very small community. In 2016, there were 25 people living there. By 2021, the population had grown slightly to 31 people.

There are no schools right in Garners Beach. Kids living here travel to nearby towns for school.
The closest primary school is El Arish State School. It's in El Arish, to the west. For high school, students go to Tully State High School. This school is in Tully, to the south-west.
