Ghassanids facts for kids
The Ghassanids were an Arab group who moved to the area known as the Levant (which includes modern-day Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, and Israel) from Yemen a long time ago, even before the religion of Islam began. They were Christians. Even today, many of their descendants still live in these countries and continue to be Christians.
