Gigi's Career in Film

Starting Out (2011-2018)

While studying at Capilano University in 2009, Gigi met Luke Bramley and Gordon Cheng. They later became her partners in filmmaking. Together, they made her first short film, Dead Crossing (2011). This film explored ideas of immigration and horror.

In 2013, Gigi helped start a film company called Luchagore Productions. She started it with Luke Bramley, Gordon Cheng, and Raynor Shima.

A company called Warner Bros. noticed Gigi after seeing El Gigante. This led to Luchagore Productions sharing many ideas with them. One of these ideas became La Quinceañera. Gigi also made two short films for movie competitions. Slam won an award for Best Picture. Testament won an award for Best Death.

Her music video, Paloma, was the opening video for the 2015 Morbido Fest. El Gigante was shown at film festivals in Australia. It won an award at the 2016 Macabre Faire Film Festival.
