Super Monsters is an exciting American-Canadian animated TV series that first appeared on Netflix on October 13, 2017. This fun show is all about a group of young kids who are getting ready for kindergarten. The cool twist? Their parents are some of the world's most famous monsters! The children are learning to control their own special monster powers.
Over the years, several special episodes and movies have been released. These include Super Monster Save Halloween (October 5, 2018), Super Monsters and the Wish Star (December 7, 2018), and Super Monsters Furever Friends (April 16, 2019). Other specials like Super Monsters Back to School (August 16, 2019) and Super Monsters: Vida's First Halloween (October 4, 2019) also came out. In 2020, Super Monsters The New Class was released on August 1. The series also began airing on the Discovery Family TV channel on October 19, 2019.

Meet the Super Monsters
The show features a fantastic group of young monsters, each with unique abilities. They attend Pitchfork Pines Preschool, where they learn to understand and use their powers.
Main Monster Characters
- Cleo Graves: A four-year-old student who is a Mummy. She can create powerful sandstorms and tornadoes. Cleo is voiced by Elyse Maloway.
- Drac Shadows: Also four years old, Drac is a Vampire who can fly! He is voiced by Vincent Tong.
- Frankie Mash: This four-year-old is a Frankenstein monster. Frankie has amazing super strength, can change his size, and has a super stomp. Erin Mathews provides his voice.
- Katya Spelling: A four-year-old Witch who sometimes has trouble with her spellcasting. Her voice is done by Andrea Libman.
- Lobo Howler: A three-year-old Werewolf with incredible super speed. Alessandro Juliani is his voice actor.
- Zoe Walker: This four-year-old Zombie has "zombie vision," which lets her see and walk through walls and objects. Nicole Anthony voices Zoe.
- Spike Gong: A three-year-old Dragon who can control clouds. Diana Kaarina is his voice.
- Vida Calvera: Lobo's cousin, Vida is a Skeleton from Ciudad Monstruo. She has special plant magic, allowing her to make plants grow. She is voiced by Gigi Saul Guerrero.
- Olive: An Ogre who shares some of Frankie's powers. Elicia Mackenzie voices Olive.
- Rocky: A stone Gargoyle who sometimes finds flying tricky. His color changes based on his feelings. Rocky is voiced by Asia Mattu.
- Sami Snow: A Snow creature with snow magic. Diana Kaarina also voices Sami.
- Zane Walker: Zoe's brother, Zane is a zombie with zombie vision. He can move objects just by pointing his finger at them. Rukiya Bernard voices Zane.
- Henri: Katya's pet Cat.
Helpful Teachers
The students at Pitchfork Pines Preschool are guided by caring teachers who help them learn and grow.
- Igor: One of the teachers at Pitchfork Pines Preschool, working alongside Esmie. He is voiced by Ian James Corlett.
- Esmie: Igor's granddaughter and another teacher at the preschool. Britt McKillip voices Esmie.
- Miss Mina: The teacher for the new class of Super Monsters. She is also a monster with beautiful rainbow-colored wings that let her fly. Miss Mina is voiced by Nicole Anthony.
- Glorb: A Hamster who is the Classroom pet at the preschool. Kathleen Barr provides his voice.
