Glenda Gonçalves dos Reis Kozlowski, born on July 9, 1974, is a well-known Brazilian journalist and TV presenter. Before becoming famous on television, she was a talented professional bodyboarder. She is especially known for hosting popular sports shows like Esporte Espetacular and Globo Esporte.

Glenda Kozlowski's Early Life
Glenda Kozlowski was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her father was English, and her mother was Brazilian. Her grandfather on her father's side was from Poland. Glenda loved sports from a very young age. Her father encouraged her to be active.
When she was a child, her father did not want to buy her a bodyboard. But a friend of his bought her one. She entered her first contest and came in second place! At that time, she also practiced judo, volleyball, and tennis. When she was 10, she started surfing at Barra beach in Rio. Soon after, she began to compete in championships.
Glenda Kozlowski's Sports Career
In 1989, Glenda won her first international title. This was at an amateur bodyboarding championship in Sandy Beach, Hawaii. As a professional athlete, she achieved her first Professional World Title. She won the World Championships at Pipeline in 1991.
Glenda also won five Brazilian National titles. She won two national contests in the USA. Plus, she won three events in Australia. These events were open to international riders. Her success showed her amazing talent in bodyboarding.
From Athlete to Journalist
Glenda Kozlowski began her journalism career in 1992. A journalist named Gilberto Conde invited her to host a show. The show was called 360 on the channel Top Sport. This channel later became Sportv.
On the show, she interviewed many famous athletes. She spoke with the Brazilian men's volleyball team. They had just won a gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics. She also interviewed the famous soccer player Zico.
Glenda Kozlowski at Rede Globo
Glenda Kozlowski joined Rede Globo in 1996. She started hosting the show Esporte Espetacular. She worked alongside reporter Clayton Conservani. Glenda made many special reports for the station's sports programs. For example, she surfed on a river in Amapá. She also did a live bungee jumping stunt.
Her first international coverage for Globo was at the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics. In 2001, she returned to host Esporte Espetacular. This time, she worked with reporter Tino Marcos.
In 2003, Glenda began to present the local Globo Esporte show in São Paulo. In 2009, she hosted the samba school parades in Rio de Janeiro for the first time. She worked with Cleber Machado for this event. In 2010, she was the main host for the second season of Hipertensão. This was a Brazilian stunt/dare reality television show.
In 2013, Glenda Kozlowski was the interviewer after the Formula One 2013 Brazilian Grand Prix. She interviewed top drivers like Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber, and Fernando Alonso on the podium. This was Mark Webber's last Formula 1 race before he retired.
