Glennon Doyle, born on March 20, 1976, is an American author and speaker. She is well-known for her books like Untamed, Love Warrior, and Carry On, Warrior. Glennon also created an online community called Momastery. Early Life and Education
Glennon Doyle grew up in Burke, Virginia, with her sister, Amanda Doyle. When she was younger, Glennon faced some personal challenges. She has spoken about a time she spent getting help when she was a teenager in her 2013 TEDx talk, "Lessons from the Mental Hospital." She went to James Madison University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. After finishing college, she worked as a teacher in Northern Virginia.

Starting Her Writing Journey
In 2009, Glennon Doyle started a blog called Momastery. She used it to share stories about her life as a Christian mom raising three kids. This blog was the beginning of her writing career. It led to her first book, a memoir called Carry On, Warrior, which came out in 2013. This book talked about faith, honesty, and being true to yourself. Her later books moved away from focusing mainly on religion.

In 2016, Glennon released another memoir titled Love Warrior. This book was chosen by Oprah Winfrey for her Book Club 2.0 in September 2016.
Her third memoir, Untamed, was published in 2020. In April 2020, Reese Witherspoon picked Untamed for her Reese's Book Club. By February 2021, Untamed had sold over two million copies. Glennon Doyle founded Together Rising, a non-profit organization, in May 2012. By December 2020, Together Rising had raised over $25 million to help people in need. The goal of Together Rising is to turn shared sadness into helpful actions. Most of the money for Together Rising is raised through short-term fundraising campaigns. People are asked to give a small amount, usually no more than $25, to help with a specific need. This way, more people can donate, and it helps build a sense of community.
In 2020, Glennon also became a co-owner of the Angel City Football Club in Los Angeles, California.
Personal Life
Glennon Doyle was married to Craig Melton until 2016, and they have three children together. The family moved from Centreville, Virginia, to Naples, Florida.
Glennon met Abby Wambach, a famous soccer player, during a book tour. In November 2016, Glennon shared that she was in a relationship with Abby. They got married on May 14, 2017. In 2021, they moved to Hermosa Beach, California.
Glennon, Abby, and Craig all work together to raise the three children. Glennon has shared that they often have family dinners together.
