Where is Glenolden?
Glenolden is located in Pennsylvania. It shares borders with several other towns. To the east and southeast, you'll find Folcroft. To the southwest is Norwood. Ridley Township is to the northwest. Darby Township is to the north, and Collingdale is to the northeast.
The borough covers a total area of about 2.52 square kilometers (0.97 square miles). All of this area is land.
Getting Around Glenolden
Glenolden has many public roads. Most of these roads are taken care of by the borough itself. A smaller part is maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
The main road in Glenolden is Chester Pike, also known as U.S. Route 13. This road can take you about 9 miles northeast to the big city of Philadelphia. If you head southwest for about 5 miles, you'll reach Chester.
For those who prefer trains, there's the Glenolden Station. This is a SEPTA train station on the Wilmington/Newark Line, making it easy to travel to nearby cities.
