Grandview is a city located in Johnson County, Texas, in the United States. In 2010, about 1,561 people lived there. By 2020, the population grew to 1,879 residents.
A grocery store chain called David's Supermarkets used to have its main office in Grandview. However, another company, Brookshire Brothers, bought it in 2014. Grandview's school district was recognized as one of the best in Texas in 2016.

Exploring Grandview's Location
Grandview is found in the southeastern part of Johnson County. A major highway, Interstate 35W, runs along the east side of the city. This highway can take you about 37 miles north to the center of Fort Worth. If you head south on it, you'll reach Hillsboro in about 19 miles.
Texas State Highway 81 also goes through the middle of Grandview. It leads south about 8 miles to Itasca. The United States Census Bureau reports that Grandview covers a total area of about 4.7 square kilometers (1.81 square miles). Only a very small part of this area, about 0.07%, is water.
