Grano is a very small city located in Renville County, North Dakota, in the United States. In 2020, only 9 people lived there. It's so small that it has just one bar and three homes.

History of Grano
Grano was started in 1905. It was built along a train track called the Soo Line Railroad. This track ran east from Kenmare across northern North Dakota.
People aren't completely sure how Grano got its name. Most believe the name comes from the Assiniboine people. They lived in this area before settlers arrived. Grano is also part of the Minot area. This is a larger region that includes Minot and nearby towns.
