Grant's bushbaby, also known as Grant's lesser bushbaby, is a small primate. It belongs to the family Galagidae, which includes other bushbabies. You can find these cute animals in countries like Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. They love living in warm, dry forests. The good news is that Grant's bushbaby is quite common. Experts say it is a species of "least concern", meaning it's not currently in danger.

What Grant's Bushbabies Look Like

Grant's bushbaby is a small animal. It has a long, thin tail covered in soft fur. Male and female bushbabies look very much alike.

Their Face and Fur

Their forehead is light grey, and the top of their head is a darker grey. They have dark rings around their eyes, which continue along their nose. A light stripe runs down their nose from their forehead to their nostrils. Their ears are long, wide, and have rounded tips. The outside of their ears is black.

The fur on their body is mostly a dull brown color. The tip of each hair is a buffy-brown. The outside of their arms and legs are also dull brown. This color slowly fades to whitish near their feet. Their cheeks, throat, and belly are a creamy-buff color. The fur on these parts is grey at the base. Their tail is long and bushy. It is dull brown with a black tip.
