Grantfork is a small village located in Madison County, Illinois, in the United States. In 2020, about 341 people lived there. It is considered part of the larger St. Louis Metropolitan Area.

Geography of Grantfork
Grantfork is found in the eastern part of Madison County. A main road, Illinois Route 160, runs through the western side of the village. This road can take you south to Highland (about 6 miles away) or north to Illinois Route 140 (about 4 miles away).
The county seat, Edwardsville, is about 16 miles to the west. If you travel southwest for about 36 miles, you will reach downtown St. Louis.
Land and Water Areas
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Grantfork covers a total area of about 0.38 square miles (0.97 square kilometers). Most of this area is land. Only a very small part, about 0.008 square miles (0.02 square kilometers), is water.
The East Fork of Silver Creek flows through the southeastern part of the village. This creek is part of the Kaskaskia River system, which eventually leads to the Mississippi River.
