Grantsville is a small town in Calhoun County, West Virginia, United States. In 2020, about 482 people lived there. It is the main town, or county seat, of Calhoun County.
The town was started in 1865 along the Little Kanawha River. It was named after Ulysses S. Grant, who was a famous general and later a U.S. President. Grantsville has a fun place called Wayne Underwood Park. This park has a walking trail that is about 0.4 kilometers long. The town also hosts the yearly West Virginia Wood Festival, which is a popular event.
