Henry John Heinz III (born October 23, 1938 – died April 4, 1991) was an American politician. He came from Pennsylvania. He was the great-grandson of the person who started the famous H. J. Heinz Company.
Henry Heinz served in the United States House of Representatives from 1971 to 1977. After that, he became a US senator. He served as a senator from 1977 until 1991. Sadly, he passed away in a plane crash in 1991.
Life and Family
Henry Heinz married Teresa Simões-Ferreira on February 5, 1966. Their wedding took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They had three sons together: H. John Heinz IV, André, and Christopher.
