Henry Randall Baskett III (born September 4, 1982) is a former American football player. He played the wide receiver position in the National Football League (NFL). During his career, he played for the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, and Indianapolis Colts.
Born in Clovis, New Mexico, Baskett was a star player in college football for the University of New Mexico. He was a top wide receiver and also received awards for his good grades.
In 2006, Baskett was signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent, which means he wasn't chosen in the main NFL draft but was still good enough to get a contract. He was soon traded to the Eagles, where he had a strong rookie season. He later played for the Colts before returning to the Eagles and then the Vikings.
Baskett was also known for his life off the field. He married television personality Kendra Wilkinson in 2009. They appeared in reality TV shows together, including Kendra and Kendra on Top.

Early Life and School
Hank Baskett was born in Clovis, New Mexico. His father, Henry Randall "Hank" Baskett Jr., worked for the Air Force and later directed a social service program. His mother, Judy Baskett, is a financial officer at Cannon Air Force Base. He went to Clovis High School, where he began his football journey.
College Football Career
Baskett played football at the University of New Mexico. He was the team's best receiver in 2004 and 2005. For his great performance, he won the Reese Leroy Hill Memorial Award for being the team's best offensive player two years in a row.
In his last year, he was named to the All-Mountain West Conference (MWC) team. That season, he caught 67 passes for 1,071 yards and scored nine touchdowns. He was also a great student and was honored for his grades all four years. He graduated with a degree in General Management.
Professional NFL Career
First Time with the Vikings and Eagles
In 2006, Baskett was not selected in the NFL Draft. However, the Minnesota Vikings signed him as a free agent. Soon after, he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for another player.
With the Eagles, Baskett had an impressive first year. He was even named rookie of the week for his great plays in games against the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons. He finished his rookie season with 22 catches for 464 yards and two touchdowns. The next year, he was named the team's special teams Most Valuable Player (MVP). In 2008, he caught 33 passes for 440 yards and scored three touchdowns.
Playing for the Indianapolis Colts
In 2009, the Eagles released Baskett to make room on the team for another player. Two days later, on September 17, 2009, he signed a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts.
He played with the Colts in Super Bowl XLIV against the New Orleans Saints. During the game, he tried to catch a special type of kick called an onside kick, but couldn't hold on to the ball. The Saints recovered the ball and scored, helping them win the game 31–17.
Return to the Eagles and Vikings
On March 12, 2010, Baskett returned to the Philadelphia Eagles, signing a one-year contract. He was released by the team later that year.
The very next day, on September 22, 2010, he re-signed with the Minnesota Vikings. He played in eight games that season, mostly on special teams. In 2011, the Vikings did not offer him a new contract, which marked the end of his NFL career.

Life on Television
Baskett appeared on television with his wife, Kendra Wilkinson. They starred in the reality show Kendra, which followed their life together. The show was very popular when it first aired on the E! network in 2009. It was one of the most-watched reality show premieres for the channel.
After Kendra ended, they starred in another show called Kendra on Top. This show aired on the WE tv network from 2012 to 2017 and continued to show their family life.
Personal Life
Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson got engaged on top of the Space Needle in Seattle. They were married on June 27, 2009.
They have two children together. Their son, Henry Randall "Hank" Baskett IV, was born in 2009. Their daughter, Alijah Mary Baskett, was born in 2014. The couple divorced in 2018. After his football career, Baskett has lived in Voorhees Township, New Jersey.
