Hannah Grace, whose full name is Hannah Vivian-Byrne, is a talented singer and songwriter from Bridgend in South Wales. She was born on June 4, 1993.

About Hannah Grace
Hannah Grace studied Jazz Vocals for four years at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. She describes her music style as being inspired by soul and jazz. Some of her favorite artists who have influenced her include Aretha Franklin, Stevie Nicks, Eva Cassidy, Joni Mitchell, and Ella Fitzgerald.
While she was studying in Cardiff, Hannah was chosen for the BBC Wales Horizons program. This program helps new Welsh artists get support and guidance in their music careers. During this time, Hannah performed at different music festivals. She also recorded a live music session at Maida Vale Studios in London.
How Hannah Started Her Music Career
Hannah Grace signed with Never Fade Records after she joined singer Gabrielle Aplin on her 2013 English Rain album tour. Never Fade Records is Gabrielle Aplin's record label.
Hannah released her first collection of songs, called an EP, in July 2014. It was titled Meant to Be Kind and was released on Never Fade Records. One song from this EP, "Broke", was even chosen as an iTunes 'Single of the Week'. Hannah worked with producer Luke Potashnick to write this EP. They have continued to work together on many projects since then.
Radio Play and Performances
Hannah Grace released her second EP, Mustang, in June 2016. This was also a collaboration with Luke Potashnick. After Mustang came out, famous radio host Dermot O'Leary noticed Hannah. He invited her to perform on his Radio 2 show. She sang her song "Mustang" and a cover of "Rather Go Blind" by Etta James.
Since then, Hannah has also performed live on Michael Ball’s show on BBC Radio 2. She was also invited back to Dermot O'Leary's show with Gabrielle Aplin. They promoted their Christmas EP, 'December', together.
Opening for Famous Artists
Hannah Grace has had the chance to open for many well-known artists. She has supported musicians like Hozier, Jess Glynne, Gabrielle Aplin, Orla Gartland, Seal, Train, Lissie, and Hudson Taylor. She performed with them on shows and tours across the UK and Europe.
In 2019, Hannah also got a special chance to open for the legendary singer Barbra Streisand. This was at Barbra Streisand's Hyde Park summertime show.
Popular Songs and Collaborations
Several of Hannah Grace's songs have been very popular. Her singles "Praise You", "With You", "Blue", and "How True Is Your Love" all made it onto the BBC Radio 2 playlist. Hannah has also performed on BBC Radio Wales programs many times. Many of her songs have been played regularly on her home radio station.
In March 2017, the famous singer Lady Gaga tweeted a video of Hannah. Lady Gaga called Hannah a "superstar". In April 2017, Hannah Grace released her cover of the Fatboy Slim song 'Praise You'. This song was chosen as the music for Lloyds Bank's TV and radio advertisements across the country. Hannah's version of "Praise You" has been used on many TV shows, including The X Factor. It has sold over 60,000 copies in the UK. More recently, it was used for the Lancôme 2020 global Christmas campaign. This campaign featured famous actresses Julia Roberts and Amanda Seyfried.
Hannah released her third EP, 'The Bed You Made', in March 2019. She co-wrote and produced this EP with Martin Luke Brown. It also included songs written with Laura White, Jessica Sharman, and Gabrielle Aplin.
Debut Album Remedy
In 2020, Hannah Grace released six new songs. In June of that year, she announced her first full studio album, Remedy. The album was released on November 20, 2020. Different producers worked on the album. Most of it was produced by the duo MyRiot, who have worked with artists like London Grammar and Aurora. Her long-time collaborator Luke Potashnick also worked on it, along with Ian Barter and Martin Luke Brown. The songs from the album have been streamed over 7 million times.
In 2020, Hannah Grace was also chosen as one of the new Virgin Money emerging stars. This program helps to support and develop new and upcoming artists.
