Hannah Miller (born October 29, 1996) is an American figure skater. She is known for winning the 2014 Ice Challenge and earning silver medals at the 2014 Lombardia Trophy and the 2012 Junior Grand Prix Final.

About Hannah Miller
Early Life and Family
Hannah Miller was born in Chicago, Illinois. Her father, Kevin Miller, was a professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) and was part of the 1988 U.S. Olympic team. Hannah has three younger sisters: Neysa, Braedyn, and Giselle.
In June 2015, Hannah finished high school at Williamston High School. She was the top student in her graduating class, known as the valedictorian, and had a perfect GPA of 4.0. After high school, she decided to study kinesiology at Michigan State University. Kinesiology is the study of how the human body moves.
Skating Journey
Hannah started learning to skate when she was four years old. She also trained in gymnastics for a while. Eventually, she chose to focus completely on figure skating. For many years, her main coach was her aunt, Kirsten Miller-Zisholz, in Lansing, Michigan.
Skating Career Highlights
Junior Competitions
Hannah won the U.S. novice title in 2011. The next season, she competed in her first Junior Grand Prix event and won a bronze medal. She also earned a bronze medal at the U.S. junior national championships in 2012.
During the 2012–13 season, Hannah won two silver medals at Junior Grand Prix events in Austria and Croatia. These wins helped her qualify for the 2012–13 Junior Grand Prix Final in Sochi, Russia. At the Final, she won the silver medal. She placed second in the short program and fourth in the long program. She also made her first appearance at the senior national level at the 2013 U.S. Championships, finishing 10th.
Senior International Debut
In September 2014, Hannah competed in her first senior international event. She won a silver medal at the Lombardia Trophy in Sesto San Giovanni, Italy. This was an ISU Challenger Series (CS) event, which is a series of important international competitions. In November of the same year, she won a gold medal at the CS Ice Challenge in Graz, Austria.
Coaching Changes
In June 2015, Hannah moved to Artesia, California, to train with coach Rafael Arutyunyan. Her aunt, Kirsten Miller-Zisholz, encouraged her to move to a more competitive training environment. Her aunt continued to advise her and help with technical aspects of her skating. In August 2016, Hannah announced that she would be coached by Tammy Gambill.
