Geography of Harmony
Harmony covers a total area of about 40.32 square miles (104.43 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 38.67 square miles (100.15 square kilometers), is land. The remaining 1.65 square miles (4.27 square kilometers) is water.
Harmony's Climate

Notable People from Harmony
Harmony has been home to several interesting people:
- Helen Marr Hurd was an educator and a poet.
- Freeman Knowles served as a U.S. congressman for South Dakota.
- Clyde Smith was also a U.S. congressman. He was married to Margaret Chase Smith, who was also a famous politician.
- Bartlett Tripp was a lawyer and diplomat. He served as the Chief Justice of the Dakota Territory Supreme Court from 1885 to 1889.
