Harold Goodwin (born October 22, 1917 – died June 3, 2004) was a British actor. He was born in Wombwell, a town in Yorkshire, England. He became famous for his roles in many British movies and TV shows.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Harold Goodwin studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. This is a very famous drama school in London. After his training, he worked as a stage actor. He spent three years performing in a repertory theatre in Liverpool. A repertory theatre is where a group of actors performs different plays each season.

Movie and TV Roles

Goodwin appeared in many British films during the 1950s and 1960s. He often played characters who wore a 'flat cap'. These were usually working-class people from Northern England. He also frequently played soldiers or other military roles.
