Harper Mountain is a cool place to go skiing and snowboarding in British Columbia, Canada. It's located just outside the city of Kamloops. The actual mountain's name is Mount Harper.

This mountain offers a vertical drop of 427 meters (about 1,400 feet). This is the distance from the very top to the bottom of the ski area. The base of the mountain is 1,100 meters (3,600 feet) above sea level. The highest point you can ski from is 1,524 meters (5,000 feet) high.

Harper Mountain has 400 acres (1.2 square kilometers) of space for skiing. You can explore 15 different trails there. To get up the mountain, they have three types of lifts. There's one chairlift, one T-bar, and one rope tow.

Besides skiing and snowboarding, there are other fun activities. You can try out the terrain park, which has jumps and obstacles. There's also a snow tube park for sliding down hills on a tube. If you like cross-country skiing, you can do that too. Plus, there's a special pond for ice skating.

Harper Mountain might not have big hotels or lots of fancy stores like some huge resorts. But it does have a cozy ski lodge made of logs. You can also rent equipment there if you don't have your own. And if you're new to skiing or snowboarding, they offer lessons to help you learn.
