The History of Harris
The city of Harris was first planned out in 1873. It officially became a city in 1883. The city got its name from Philip S. Harris. He was an important officer for the St. Paul and Duluth Railroad Company. A post office has been open in Harris since 1874, helping people send and receive mail for a very long time.
