Harvey is a city located in Wells County, North Dakota, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,650 people lived there. The city was started in 1893 by the Soo Line Railway. It was an important "division point" where trains could change crews or be serviced. People believe the city was named after Colonel Scott William Harvey, a director of the Soo Line Railway from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
