Michael Forest (born Gerald Michael Charlebois on April 17, 1929) is an American actor. He is well-known for lending his voice to many animated shows and movies. He also played the powerful character of Apollo in the classic TV series Star Trek.

Early Life and Education
Michael Forest was born in Harvey, North Dakota. When he was very young, his family moved to Seattle, Washington. He later went to San Jose State University. There, he earned a degree in English and Drama.
Acting Career Highlights
Michael Forest has had a long and interesting acting career. He has worked in both live-action TV shows and movies, and as a voice actor.
Famous Roles in TV and Movies
One of his most famous roles was playing the god Apollo in the 1967 Star Trek episode called "Who Mourns for Adonais?" Many years later, in 2013, he played Apollo again in a fan-made series called Star Trek Continues. His wife, actress Diana Hale, also appeared in that episode.
He also appeared in a 1964 episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show. In another memorable role, he played one of three alien brothers in a 1964 episode of The Twilight Zone titled “Black Leather Jackets”.
Voice Acting for Animated Shows
Michael Forest is also a talented voice actor. When he was 71 years old, he voiced the character Prince Olympius in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue. He has provided voices for many popular animated series and films.
