Hauser is a small city in Kootenai County, Idaho, United States. It's located on the southern side of Hauser Lake. In 2010, about 678 people lived there.
Where is Hauser?
Hauser is in the state of Idaho. The border with Washington state is just to its west. Idaho State Highway 53 runs along the city's southern edge. This highway connects Hauser to nearby towns. You can travel east to Rathdrum or west towards the Spokane metropolitan area. Hauser is part of a larger area called the Spokane–Coeur d'Alene region.
The city covers a total area of about 0.94 square miles (2.43 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
