Hewitt is a small city in Todd County, Minnesota, United States. It is located along the Wing River. In 2010, 266 people lived there. By 2020, the population was 251.

History of Hewitt
Hewitt was officially planned and mapped out in 1891. It was named after Henry Hewitt, who was one of the first people to settle in the area. A post office has been open in Hewitt since 1891, helping people send and receive mail. The old Hewitt Public School, which was built in 1911, is a special building. It is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, meaning it is an important historical site.
Geography of Hewitt
The city of Hewitt covers a total area of about 2.05 square miles (5.34 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water inside the city limits.
Two important roads run through Hewitt. These are U.S. Route 71 and Minnesota State Highway 210. These routes help people travel to and from the city.
