Hiram is a small village located in northern Portage County, Ohio, in the United States. It was created from parts of Hiram Township. In 2020, about 996 people lived there. Hiram is part of the larger Akron metropolitan area. It is also home to Hiram College, which is a small, private liberal arts college. The first post office in Hiram opened way back in 1816.
